I'm getting together a group to go see Rent. I"m doing it as a "student" group so that I can get tickets for $25. We're going June 25th. Please let me know if you'd be interested
and the weekend in Rochester was SOOOO needed. I had a blast. Laura, Tania, Aimee, Katy and Jan - I haven't had that much fun in a long, long, time....thank you! And I took what had to be the best road trip ever with Katy and Jan - it's been a long time since i've taken a road trip WITH someone, and just kind of stopped at fun attractions and what not. That trip is a lot easier to make with someone to sing along to Rent with
Katy left Saturday morning, but Jan is still here (yea!) I took him to Salem yesterday, today we watched movies (i hope you weren't bored Jan - i know, laundry and stuff is so exciting:)). It was a freaking John Cusack-a-thon.
and Chris - what am I going to do without you in WET? Seriously, you'd think your upcoming nuptials were like...important or something :P seriously though, can't wait chica! I'm sure you can't either!
we (as in we, i mean, me, katy, jan, blake and liz - and carrie and kyle if you guys are free) are meeting for dinner at Boston Beer Works at 7:30 by Fenway.
Call me or Katy - Blake, i think you and jan need to talk - so, this is the final plan!
See you kids tomorrow!
back to studying for the bar:( And should the tattoo be in honor of graduation or passing the bar? Well, if it's in honor of passing the bar I can't get it on my bday, but....
also, at some point - like early the next morning, i'm gonna have to drive home, or fly, or something.
Speaking of The Edge - they were talking about him on the radio, apparantly he donated a bunch of guitars to musicians effected by the hurricane. awww. the dj was like "bono isn't the only one in the band that cares' ha ha ha.
So, at Target today I bought one of those $5 shirts that says "everyone loves an irish girl". So ready for st pat's. it was either that or a black shirt with a gliterry shamrock.
Also, on the way, i notice that the Cambridge firehouse has this nice mural of firefighters, never really looked at it closely before. Anyway, I notice that in the midst of the firefighters, they have George Washington and Ben Franklin?!?!?!?!!? The only thing that I can think is that it was a "firfighting through history" kind of thing and everyone looked like George and Ben back then? I mean, George WAS holding a bucket.
Also, and this is for Carrie too - anyone here on Sunday after St Patty's day is invited to Heather's for the parade. It's a great vantage point to watch it from, there is always lots of good drink and food and for some odd reason, a large congregation of NYPD and NYFD post parade.
And not specifically for anyone:Dude, do people not know when they smell? This guy at the gym was either farting up a storm or had crapped his pants, it smelled so bad i quit the elliptical early so i didn't puke. Then i run into some chick in the dressing room checking her nude self out. It was hilarious, she was staring at her naked ass the entire time i was in there. *shakes head*
Other than getting ready for Barrister’s, things are pretty mundane. I’m just stressing about the impending bar, and how that’s gonna work out. It would really ease my mind if I had it all worked out, but alas, one can only hope and wait.
The wine tasting was great, I had a blast! Lost my camera, but had a blast.
The negative aspect of living with one of your best friends is that a trip to the shower results in you pausing in the kitchen and having a very long discussion that goes from Buffy to politics. Really, don’t ask – you wouldn’t get it unless you’re demented as we are.
Quote from my friend Christy: “so I’m walking across the street, and the construction workers are like ‘I believe in women’s rights!’ and I’m thinking, you’re construction workers, aren’t you supposed to whistle?”
You know you’re a student when you debit 1.50. Well, the truth is I just don’t like to carry cash ,I’ll probably be doing that when I’m 80.
The customer service at 7-11 is the worst ever
The T, at any kind or rush-hour, is really a level of hell.
I find it very difficult to keep scarves in my hair.
And Fun dates to come:

Reds are motivated by POWER, seek productivity, and
need to look good to others. Simply stated,
REDS want their own way. They like to be in
the drivers seat and willingly pay the price
to be in a leadership role. REDS value
whatever gets them ahead in life, whether it
be at work, school, or in their personal
relationships. What REDS value, they get
done. They are often workaholics. They will,
however, resist being forced to do anything
that doesnt interest them.
Reds need to appear knowledgeable. They crave
approval from others for their intelligence
and insight. They want to be respected even
more than they want to be loved. They want to
be admired for their logical, practical
minds. REDS are confident, proactive,
visionary, and can be arrogant, selfish, and
insensitive. When you deal with a RED, be
precise, factual, and direct.
